off the top of y head and based on what I've read, a D70 is well worth it, even from a D100. A D2H is now cheap too. With lots of Nikon glass the options are quite good. Even a Kodak SLR/n is a good buy.....

Thanks for reading this message. Since you are from mid-west, you are capable of taking your car and drive in the direction of DC. It will take anywhere from 9-15hours. But you will be able to do it.
If there was a possibility of USCIS handing a GC in person, you would have driven 50 hours. Can you not drive for 10hours for a cause that is affecting you, me and everyone around us?
Now make up your mind and drive and meet other mid-westerners in DC.
I know one mr Gan*** - who flew to Nebraska with a Substitute labor and i 140 petition on the last day before labor substitution was banned. Mr Gane** also filed for 485 after the fiasco and we had a drink together because he thought he did a marvellous job as he is just 2 months old in US and has just landed in a consulting job and already applied 140/485 during the fiasco.
But he is not willing to hop onto my car, lives 5 miles from my place in Queens, to go to DC.
This shows the poor attitude people have towards grassroots efforts.

graduated with a MS in Computer science in may2007.
i applied to another university and got my sevis transferred to do my MBA there.
i have done 11 months 20 days of full time CPT at the previous university(where i did my MS).
am i eligible for another full time CPT at my new university where i have started my MBA (from jan 21st 2008)?
the international students service at my previous university is saying "i am eligible for 12months of full time CPT for every educational level, and i cannot get another 12 months if i do MBA because it is a masters degree too".
please suggest.

I had applied for 485 in July with Future Employer in EB3.
After 6 months, I want to port the application to my existing employer. At that time, is it possible to convert the application from EB3 to EB2 using AC21 portability??

not sure about I-140, i think it should be ok to mention your spouse name but check with your immigration lawyer about this.
NOTE: as far as i know, if your wife is in H4 visa, you can file her AOS (I-485) as your spouse. But if she is in F1 visa, you CANNOT file her I-485 as your dependent along with your I-485 since she is in F1 student visa. but check with your immigration lawyer about this..

So are these different from the finger prints that we take for EAD? For people who got their priority date current, do they ask for a separate finger prints again? Does anyone can shed some light on this?
Yes the finger printing for EAD is type 2 and for I485 it is type 3. They are different.
Photos are different (this is an example)

.. in EAD, nose ring to be removed

My current visa status is H4. As i cannot work on this visa, I am interested in doing an Unpaid Internship. Please clarify whether I can do so on an H4 visa.
I'm trying to secure the internship in a nonprofit organisation. Will there be an exception for them, in case it's not allowed otherwise?

I only got time to smell/touch the card. Before I could taste it I had to mail it back for replacement due to incorrect information on the card
